Los Angeles Dodgers to conduct Player Crypto Tokens Giveaway via ETH

According to an official press release on Dodger Insider, 7th September, a U.S. professional baseball team the 'Los Angeles Dodgers' will be giving away athlete tokens based on crypto, at the end of September.

The Dodger fans will be getting tokens representing Dodger players which will be convertible to Ethereum (ETH) cryptocurrency. This is going to follow the game against San Diego Padres which is scheduled on 21st September.

Also, guests will be able to download tokens during "Digital Bobblehead Night" of athletes such as pitcher Clayton Kershaw, third baseman Justin Turner and Curacaoan pitcher Kenley Jansen too!
The tokens will be distributed according to point of entry with first 40,000 ticketed fans who will be reportedly set in order to receive a card with a unique code on it that can be unblocked and also transferred to ETH wallet, as stated. Approximately equal share of Kershaw, Turner and Jansen codes, the character crypto tokens will be given to randomly selected fans.

Dodgers' CMO and Executive Vice President Mr. Rosen expressed his views saying that the "first-ever crypto giveaway" in the field of sports will let them explore an entirely new marketplace with their fanbase. Also, this type of giveaway will create "pique interest" among Dodger fans and it will help them to launch a new age of digital collectibles and promotions.

Initially this summer, the Sacramento Kings basketball team also collaborated with MiningStore (a crypto mining supplier) to get ETH mining hardware installed in an indoor arena that was supposed to pass crypto earnings to a scholarship program.
