Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak has discussed about the possibility of his involvement a new crypto start-up company. According to NullTX news site, Steve Wozniak has announced that he is planning to get involved in a project of blockchain which would be his first project in the technology, reported on the channel site on 19th August after a statement made by him at the ChainXchange conference.

"I'm involved with, very soon, my first time being involved in a blockchain company... Our approach is not like a new currency, or something phony where an event will make it go up in value. It's a share of stock, in a company. This company is doing investment by investors with huge track records in good investments in things like apartment buildings in Dubai."

A conference held in Las Vegas from 13th August to 15th August, Mr Wozniak, in an interview, disclosed that he is planning to participate in a blockchain start-up. He also admired several advantages of the technology and said:

He moved on further and also explained his fascination with the blockchain technology saying:

"It's so independent! It's kind of like the internet when it was brand new. I was amazed at the technology behind it... I've encountered people working in real estate avenues, types of Uber systems, everything we've got in our life, especially involving transactions.Every single one you hear about, to me, has value. A few people can see the value, which reminds me very much of the early internet days."

After learning about the potential of decentralised ledgers, Wozniak also got impressed with the fact that the cryptocurrency has a finite supply, which US dollar does not. 'The Woz' eventually became a Bitcoin missionary and said that he hopes Bitcoin might someday become a universal currency.

Also, he compared the Ethereum (ETH) platform to Apple's App Store because both of them allowed thousands of companies and other individuals to develop and run their own applications. The Ethereum platform dispenses tools for one's own blockchain applications and implementation of business logic. Wozniak had earlier stated that blockchain technology was a "bubble", although it was decentralised and completely trustworthy. In spite of his unclear stance on blockchain, Steve Wozniak still commends Bitcoin, saying that it is "the only digital gold".
